Create a funky, mosaic gourd birdhouse using broken bits and pieces of china.  Participants will learn the process of creating a pique assiette mosaic project; cutting, adhesion, tile layout and grouting. The class includes plastic birdhouse and all materials. Students are encouraged to bring any personal dishes, jewelry, beads, shells or objects they may with to incorporate into their art piece. The class requires 2 sessions. The first session will cover the design and adhering the pieces and the second session will include grouting and cleaning the art piece. The class is being taught by Sharon Berg, our landscape designer and creator of the mosaic garden art at the nursery.
